Meh, why not?

I guess since I was trying out some new diy facial cleansers, you had to do it too. So, a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of baking soda later... and voila... we had this....

Check out those babes. Our skin did feel pretty soft afterwards, but I woke up the next morning with Mt. St. Helens on my forehead. Two of them! Womp Womp.

Maybe I'll keep trying it for a week or so and see how it goes.

And we didn't stop there. Because I've heard about the miraculous powers of apple cider vinegar, we put some of that on our faces too (mixed with water.) Meh, why not? Well, maybe because it made our faces smell like dirty feet, that's why not.

Lesson Learned.

Lesson Learned

Those soft pink hair rollers. Seriously, who came up with those? And what kind of mom would make their kid wear 'em to bed? Yeah, sorry. Did that. Well, lesson learned. They don't work. Fail.

Young Life 5K

Yes, I did a 5K. No, I didn't run it. Gotta start somewhere, right?
Sophie: Please be a runner. It's so much easier to stay fit when you're a runner. Trust me on this one.

A Sticky Situation!

It's never a good thing to have a bottle of syrup leak in your purse.

Never mind why I had the bottle of syrup in there in the first place... long story. Just call me Buddy the Elf, I guess.

Point is, I'll now be smelling maple syrup every time I put on chapstick, search for my keys, get out my wallet, etc. Not helpful in my efforts to LOSE weight!

Might be in the market for a new purse :-)

Lesson learned: Don't put syrup in your purse.
