We had a great Easter! You loved your Easter gifts and all the hub-bub of the day. I also wanted to make sure that you knew what Easter is really about. Every night when we pray, you claps your hands together, and I pray that you will get saved early on in life. It's one of my most fervent prayers. I've told you several times about salvation and how you can accept Jesus as Savior someday. I know that you obviously don't understand yet, but I want to make sure that you hear it often. On Easter morning, I was explaining to you that God loved you so much that He made a way for you to spend forever with Him in Heaven. I told you that His Son, Jesus, had come to earth, lived a perfect life, and died so that He could take our punishment for all the bad things we do. Your eyes were fixed on me this whole time. I told you then that Jesus was so powerful that He didn't stay dead. I told you that He came back to life and came right out of that tomb! At this point, in the sweetest, most excited voice, you said, "Awww!" My heart melted to hear your excitement. I know that you don't "get it" already, but I pray that enough of those sweet moments will create a soft heart in you that will be ready to accept Him at an early age. I think God has big things planned for you, little one!

It's Jen McGee. You two look soooo beautiful! You look like you've lost weight, Jaime! And I love your story about telling Sophie about the Lord...it's my greatest prayer for Jaiven as well. I just prayed tonight that God would use Jaiven - as a mom I know I'm biased, but he really is just the sweetest little boy and I feel confident that God can use him in mighty ways. I know you pray the same for your sweet Sophie.
